Sjedne\u0161, okrene\u0161 pedale i ide\u0161. No, iza te jednostavnosti krije se niz komponenti koje svakodnevno rade pod optere\u0107enjem. Upravo zato redovito odr\u017eavanje nije stvar pedantnosti, nego sigurnosti i dugotrajnosti. Mnogi rekreativci reagiraju tek kad se pojavi problem. Ko\u010dnice po\u010dnu \u201ccviliti\u201d, lanac preska\u010de ili prijenosi vi\u0161e nisu glatki. No tada je \u010desto ve\u0107 kasno za jednostavno rje\u0161enje. Bez obzira na to vozite li po gradu ili nizbrdo kroz \u0161umu, njihova ispravnost mora biti besprijekorna. Kod ve\u0107ine modernih bicikala susre\u0107emo se s disk ko\u010dnicama, dok su na starijim ili jednostavnijim modelima jo\u0161 uvijek prisutne tzv. V-brake ko\u010dnice. U oba slu\u010daja princip je isti. Ko\u010denje se posti\u017ee trenjem, a to zna\u010di da se dijelovi tro\u0161e. Kod disk ko\u010dnica najvi\u0161e se tro\u0161e ko\u010dione plo\u010dice. S vremenom postaju tanje i gube u\u010dinkovitost. Ako primijetite da morate ja\u010de stiskati ru\u010dicu ili da ko\u010denje vi\u0161e nije \u201co\u0161tro\u201d kao prije, vrijeme je za provjeru. Kod V-brake sustava tro\u0161e se gumene pakne koje priti\u0161\u0107u obru\u010d kota\u010da.<\/p>\n<p>Osim tro\u0161enja, problem mo\u017ee biti i ne\u010disto\u0107a. Naizgled jednostavan, ali klju\u010dan za prijenos snage s nogu na kota\u010de. Bez ispravnog lanca nema ni ugodne vo\u017enje. Tijekom vo\u017enje lanac je izlo\u017een prljav\u0161tini, vlazi i trenju. Sve to dovodi do tro\u0161enja. Kako se tro\u0161i, lanac se lagano \u201cizdu\u017euje\u201d, \u0161to negativno utje\u010de na rad cijelog pogona.<\/p>\n<p>Zato je redovito \u010di\u0161\u0107enje i podmazivanje osnovna rutina. Prljav lanac ne samo da lo\u0161ije radi, nego ubrzava tro\u0161enje kazete i lan\u010danika. To zna\u010di ve\u0107e tro\u0161kove kasnije. Podmazivanje treba prilagoditi uvjetima vo\u017enje. Postoje ulja za suhe i mokre uvjete. Va\u017eno je nanijeti dovoljno ulja, ali i obrisati vi\u0161ak. Previ\u0161e ulja privla\u010di prljav\u0161tinu, \u0161to stvara suprotan efekt.<\/p>\n<p>Dobra praksa je o\u010distiti lanac nakon vo\u017enje po ki\u0161i ili blatnjavim stazama. Ne mora to biti detaljan servis svaki put, ali brzo brisanje i lagano podmazivanje \u010dine veliku razliku. Lanac tada radi ti\u0161e, a prijenos snage je u\u010dinkovitiji. Ako lanac po\u010dne preskakati ili ako primijetite nepravilnosti u prijenosu, mogu\u0107e je da je vrijeme za zamjenu. No \u010dim ne\u0161to nije u redu, to se odmah osjeti. \u0160kripanje, preskakanje ili ote\u017eano prebacivanje brzina znak su da sustav tra\u017ei pa\u017enju.<\/p>\n<p>Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107i uzrok problema je ne\u010disto\u0107a ili lo\u0161e pode\u0161en mjenja\u010d. Prljav\u0161tina se lako nakuplja izme\u0111u zubaca, posebno nakon vo\u017enje po ki\u0161i ili makadamu. Redovito \u010di\u0161\u0107enje poma\u017ee da sustav radi kako treba. Pode\u0161avanje mjenja\u010da uklju\u010duje napetost sajle i grani\u010dnike koji odre\u0111uju krajnje pozicije. To mo\u017eda zvu\u010di komplicirano, ali uz malo prakse mo\u017ee se savladati. Nepravilan tlak utje\u010de na kontrolu, udobnost i otpor. Prenizak tlak pove\u0107ava rizik od bu\u0161enja i ote\u017eava vo\u017enju. Previsok tlak smanjuje prianjanje i udobnost. Idealne vrijednosti obi\u010dno su nazna\u010dene na bo\u010dnoj strani gume. Redovita kontrola tlaka traje svega minutu, a mo\u017ee zna\u010dajno pobolj\u0161ati osje\u0107aj u vo\u017enji. Bicikl s pravilno napuhanim gumama jednostavno ide lak\u0161e. Osim tlaka, va\u017eno je pratiti i stanje gaze\u0107eg sloja. Istro\u0161ene gume slabije dr\u017ee podlogu, posebno na mokrom asfaltu. Dovoljno je razviti osnovnu rutinu. Kratki pregled prije vo\u017enje i povremeno \u010di\u0161\u0107enje mogu sprije\u010diti ve\u0107inu problema. Primjerice, prije svake vo\u017enje vrijedi brzo provjeriti rade li ko\u010dnice kako treba i jesu li gume dovoljno napuhane. Nakon vo\u017enje po lo\u0161im uvjetima, dobro je obrisati bicikl i ukloniti prljav\u0161tinu. Ako ne\u0161to ne zvu\u010di ili ne radi kako treba, to je signal koji ne treba ignorirati. To su male investicije koje dugoro\u010dno \u010dine veliku razliku. Kvalitetna biciklisti\u010dka oprema ne odnosi se samo na vo\u017enju, nego i na odr\u017eavanje.
